Matthew & Jonah Traphagan

Matthew Thomas and Jonah Levi, infant twins of Rev. William and Stephanie Traphagan of Bennett, Iowa were born into the arms of Jesus on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus, Davenport, Iowa.  McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lowden, Iowa.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.  Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Those left to honor Matthew and Jonah’s memory are parents, Rev. William and Stephanie (McGarvey) Traphagan; siblings, Sarah and Timothy Traphagan; paternal grandparents, Dee and Mary Traphagan of McCook, Nebraska, maternal grandparents, Michael and Deborah McGarvey of East Peoria, Illinois, aunts, Brandy Traphagan of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bobbie and Andrew Ziebell of McCook; uncle, Christopher and Melissa McGarvey of Wilmington, North Carolina; and cousin, Samson Ziebell of McCook.

They were preceded in death by infant siblings, Anastasia and Jeremiah Traphagan.
