Maxine Burroughs, 74, formerly of Hannibal, Missouri passed away Friday, April 2, 2004 at Riverview Manor Nursing Home in Pleasant Valley, Iowa.
Services are pending at O’Donnell’s Funeral Home in Hannibal. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf is assisting the family with local arrangements.
Maxine was born in Hannibal and moved to Pleasant Valley in 1992. She especially enjoyed playing bingo, collecting stuffed animals and beads and her pet bird.
She is survived by her niece & nephew, Dorothy & Maurice “Gene” Campbell of LeClaire. Other survivors include her cousins, Rusty Suiter & his wife, Gayle of Leclaire, Rick Suiter & his wife, Darlene of Princeton, Iowa, Jim Suiter & his wife, Danielle of Princeton and Tina Harrington of Rock Island, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Zella Philips; and her step-father, Lyle Phillips.
