M. C. Odom

M. C. Odom, 76, a resident of Arlington, Texas and formerly of East Moline, Illinois and DeKalb, Illinois died on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the Arlington Villa Nursing Facility in Arlington.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home, DeKalb. Burial will be in Fairview Park Cemetery, DeKalb.
He was born March 21, 1933 in Phil Campbell, Alabama, the son of Walter B. & Lula B. (Whitfield) Odom. On September 21, 1961, he was united in marriage to Loretta Jane Lesley in Trumann, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on September 22, 1992.
M. C. was employed at International Harvester Company in East Moline before retiring some years ago.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Sheila Ford of Arlington, Texas; his son, Tommy (Sue) Justis of Morristown, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Austin Fitzgerald of Arlington, Libby Sullivan of Nashville, Tennessee and Dexter Justis of Morristown; his great-granddaughter, Bonnie Sullivan of Nashville; his sister, Judy (Tom) Anderson of DeKalb, Illinois; and his brother, Bill (Kathy) Odom of Bettendorf, Iowa;
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherri Odom; and several sisters & brothers.
