Michael Stevens

Michael Tobin Stevens, 61, of Fullerton, California, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at his daughter’s home in Bettendorf.
Services celebrating his life will be held at a later date in California. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
Michael was born on September 18, 1951 in Massachusetts, the son of Carroll Duncan and Clarice (Schwabe) Stevens.
Michael served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a concrete construction inspector. Michael enjoyed bass fishing and playing poker.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Stephanie Stevens of Fullerton, CA; two daughters, Noelle (Jayson) Fox of Bettendorf and Tiffany (Mike) Martinez of Aliso Viejo, CA; three grandchildren, Breanna Thompson, Sheyenne Fox and Jayson Fox, Jr.; and one great-grandson, Chandler Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters.
