Michael Lee Dulaney, 57, a resident of Riverdale, Iowa died on Monday, February 1, 2010 at home.
A service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 8, 2010 in the chapel at Davenport Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born May 14, 1952 in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Fred L. & Lois I. (Cassens) Dulaney. Michael graduated from the Illinois Central College in East Peoria, Illinois and from Scott Community College in Bettendorf, Iowa.
He was employed in the pipefitters, boiler makers & sheet metal workers trades and was an accomplished welder.
Mike was an avid cook, enjoyed fishing, music and motorcycles.
Those left to honor his memory include his father, Fred Dulaney of Davenport, Iowa; his sister, Patti (Tom) Daft of Clive, Iowa; his daughter, Michelle of Rock Island, Illinois; his aunt, Mary Cline of Peoria; and many loving cousins.
His mother & grandparents preceded him in death.
