Michael W. Snell, 40, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa and formerly of Moline, Illinois died unexpectedly on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Trinity at Terrace Park Hospital in Bettendorf.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 30, 2009 at the Rock Island National Cemetery where military honors will be conducted. Those wishing to attend his service should meet at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf by 10:30 A.M. Monday. There will be no visitation.
He was born November 28, 1968 in Moline, Illinois the son of Richard & Donna (Clifton) Snell and was a graduate of Moline High School.
Michael was employed as a delivery driver for the Artic Glacier Ice Company for nine years.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was honorably discharged on July 25, 1994.
Among the things he enjoyed were NASCAR, playing poker with his friends, reading and the internet.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother & step-father, Donna & Richard Winans of Moline; and several aunts, uncles & cousins.
His father preceded him in death.
