Mildred "Millie" Coyle

Mildred “Millie” Catherine Coyle, 91, of Eldridge, Iowa died Saturday, February 17, 2018 at her home in Eldridge, surrounded by her loved ones.

There will be no services held. Burial services will be held at St. Ann’s Cemetery, in Long Grove, Iowa at a later date. Memorial contributions in Millie’s memory can be made to Genesis Hospice.

Millie was born on October 22, 1926 in Brighton, Massachusetts the daughter of Walter and Mildred (Meagher) King. She was united in marriage to Paul Coyle on June 4, 1950 in Waltham, MA.  She had held various jobs throughout her life, including being a waitress and factory worker where she had met her husband, Paul, however she was known primarily as being a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, playing on her iPad, and watching Fox News.

Those left to honor Millie’s memory include her husband, Paul; Eight children, many grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Sisters; Ruth Glynn, and Berniece King.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Joanne Lund; a son, Danny Coyle, and three brothers.
