Mr. Connie Warren

Mr. Connie D. Warren, 63, of Bettendorf, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at UnityPoint Trinity in Bettendorf.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 18, 2016 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the services on Monday at the funeral home.  Refreshments will be served after the funeral on Monday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow and burial will be in Hampton Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

Connie was born July 23, 1952 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of William & Mammie (Downey) Warren.  He had been employed in maintenance over the years. Connie enjoyed fishing and watching the eagles along the river.  He loved to joke around and will be remembered as a kidder.

Those left to honor his memory include his children, Lucinda Cole of Delaware, Oklahoma, Tina Warren of Milledgeville, Illinois and Shane Warren of Omaha, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Lisa Dutenhafer of Rockford, Kenny Remaly of Delaware and Steven Remaly of Delaware; his sisters, Betty Verville of Bettendorf and Carolyn (Jerry) Dutenhafer of Rockford; his brothers, Larry (Charlotte) Warren of Atlanta, Georgia, Roger (Cynthia) Warren of Davenport and Danny Warren of Bettendorf; and a life-long friend, Sue Strickland.

Connie was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Remaly.
