Nancy Beth Miller

Nancy Beth Miller, 62, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died at her home on Sunday, May 08, 2005 following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1140 E. High St. in Davenport where she was a loyal member. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the church. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was born October 21, 1942 in Rock Island, Illinois, the beloved daughter of Robert & Frances (Gummerson) Johnson. On September 29, 1962, she was united in marriage to Robert Miller in Davenport. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2002.
Nancy was an avid bridge player and belonged to several area bridge clubs. She was a tireless volunteer at the Discovery Shop and at the church where she was also active in a church circle. She & her husband loved to travel. They also loved classic cars and attending car shows throughout the area.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters & sons-in-law, Diana & Marty Stoye of Rock Island and Cathy & Steve Klos of Bettendorf; and her grandchildren, Catherine & Gary Stoye and Alison & Matthew Klos.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Hollowell; and by her parents.
