Nannie C. Lerch, 61, of Davenport, died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus in Davenport.
Private family services will be held and a luncheon will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at New Life Baptist Church, 7780 West Locust Street in Davenport.
Nannie was born December 24, 1954 in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the daughter of John LeRoy Sr. & Marian Jean (Douglass) Scott. She was united in marriage to Larry Lerch on March 24, 2000 in Rushville, Illinois. Nannie loved all of her family and will be remembered as a people-person. She enjoyed crafts, music and reading.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Christine (James Hull) Suiter of Davenport and Dorothy (Waylon) Setser of Davenport; her son, John Wills of Davenport; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and two on the way; and her sisters, June Fye and Dallas Kelley.
Nannie was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Marian Jean MacDonald, Lucy Scott McNeal and Betty Jo Scott Shaull; and her brothers, Peri Eugene Scott, Willie Green, John LeRoy Scott Jr., Bobby Scott and Howard David Scott.
