Nicklas Ray Greenman, 34, a resident of Rock Island, Illinois died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus in Rock Island.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Nicklas was born January 5, 1977 in Rock Island the son of Lonnie R. and Priscella L. (Smith) Greenman.
He was employed at the Moline Dispatch Publishing Company for 16 years.
He enjoyed auctions, video games and reading, especially Harry Potter.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Priscella; his sisters, Theresa (Daniel) Faulkner, Summer Greenman and Rainbow Greenman all of Rock Island; his nephew, Kaleb and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie; his grandfathers, Vernon Smith and Ray Greenman and his grandmothers, Carrie Haines and Bernadine Smith.
