Norma Wahl

Norma Jean Wahl, 80, a resident of Davenport, formerly of Kewanee, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
There will be no services held at this time. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on August 8, 1934 in Oglesby, Illinois, Norma was the daughter of Gordon and Annamae (Argubright) Towne. She married Glen Wahl on February 14, 1959 in Kewanee, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1991.
Norma worked as a bookkeeper prior to her marriage. She enjoyed reading and was a member of Kewanee United Methodist Church.
Those left to honor her memory include her sisters, Joyce (Wes) Kuehl of LeClaire, Iowa and Nancy Libby of Kewanee, Illinois; brother, Alyn (Barbara) Towne of Treasure Island, Florida; and brother-in-law, Steve Nixon of Kewanee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Joan Nixon and Bernyce Newburn; and brother-in-law, Robert Libby.
