Pamela L. Burroughs, 51, of Davenport, Iowa, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 2, 2011 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family.
Pam was born January 4, 1960 in Glendale, California, the daughter of Walter & Beatrice Pamperin. She was united in marriage to Paul J. Burroughs Jr. on April 10, 1976 in Moline, Illinois.
She had been employed for several years in food service at Central High School in Davenport. Pam enjoyed bowling, camping, karaoke and playing cards. Most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she so dearly loved.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Paul; her daughters, Wendy Burroughs of Davenport and Jessica Ray (Titus) Parker of East Moline, Illinois; her son, Paul Burroughs III; six grandchildren and one expected soon; her sisters, Marlene, Nancy & Janet; her brother, Mike; her special extended family, Paul Burroughs Sr, Cheryl Gillespie, Marilynn (Steve) Stepanek, Lewanna (Larry) Althaus, Connie (Terry) Breen and Kenneth (Pam M.) Burroughs; and her Teacup dog, “Moonraker.”
Pam was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Walter, David & Raymond.
