Patricia M. Adrian, 77, of Cordova, IL, passed away Wednesday April 16, 2014 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, IA. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to either the American Heart Association, the Florida Police Benevolent Association, Inc. (PBA) or to the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.).
Patricia was born August 13, 1936 in Bettendorf, the daughter of Everett and Kathryn (Matizak) Fosdyck. She married Robert L. Adrian on June 27, 1957, in Davenport, IA. Patricia worked at Sivyer Steel in Bettendorf for 38 years, working her way up to the Chief Financial Officer before her retirement. Patricia enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, and traveling with her husband Robert.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband of 56 years Robert L. Adrian of Cordova, her son Mark L. Adrian of Greenbelt, MD, her sister Pamela Jacops of Grants Pass, OR, five granddaughters and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her sister Pricilla Welch and her parents.
