Patricia Juett

Patricia Sue Juett, 78, a resident of Riverdale, Iowa died Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa.

As per her wishes there will be no services. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Patricia was born January 6, 1933 in Muncie, Indiana. She was a graduate of Burris High School in Muncie. She worked for many years as an office manager for WIC until her retirement.

She enjoyed growing flowers and taking care of her yard. She was devoted to her family and loved babysitting for them, especially her three great-grandsons.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Bill Shorter, Bettendorf, Iowa, Barb (Don) Wright, Riverdale, Iowa and Ben (Patty) Shorter, Walcott, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Trish) Allshouse, B.J. Shorter, Dennis Lund Jr., Kimberly Shorter, Zach Shorter and Karissa Shorter; her great-grandsons, Hunter, Carter and Spencer Allshouse; her sisters, Dorothy Schull, Williamsburg, Indiana and Doris Ortosky, Durham, North Carolina and her brother, James (Norma) Juett, Whispering Pines, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Lynne, her parents and her sisters Faye and Delores.
