Patricia Phillips

Patricia A. Phillips, 88, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Jersey Ridge Place, Davenport.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in June in Wisconsin. Inurnment will be in Mifflin Cemetery, Rewey, Wisconsin. Memorials may be directed to Footbridge.  McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.

Patricia was born on September 10, 1930 in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, the daughter of Arthur and Margaret (Kruger) Phillips.  For 28 years, she worked as a registered nurse for Dr. A.R. TouVelle.  Through the years she became a part of their family and was an integral part in their children and grandchildren’s lives. She later worked for Drs. Wallace and Goettsch.  In 2007, she retired from Genesis Convenient Care Clinics.  In her earlier years, Patricia spent many weekends at the Quad City Mustang Club car rallies with her beloved 1975 candy apple red Mustang convertible and was also a member of the Plus 60 Club.  She enjoyed traveling and watching tennis.  Patricia was an avid Green Bay Packers and North Dakota Bisons fan.  She loved spending her Sundays poolside and having a fish fry.

Those left to honor her memory are her siblings, Jean Kramer of Hartford, Wisconsin, Robert (Peggy) Phillips of New Boston, Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews; her extended family, Nancy (Don) Evans and family of Bettendorf, Dr. Stephen (Terese) TouVelle and family of Bettendorf, Matthew (Alison) TouVelle and family of Peoria, Illinois, Todd and his son, Nathan TouVelle of Jacksonville, Florida; Eyreka (Chris) Barnes, and their children, Mason and Sutton, of Bettendorf.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
