Patricia F. Richardson

Patricia F. Richardson, 93, formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Bellbrook Assisted Living in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Bettendorf.

Patricia was born September 23, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of James and Marie (Deters) Finan. She was united in marriage to Robert W. Richardson on January 19, 1957 in Cincinnati. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2013.

She had been employed by the Keebler Biscuit Company as an inventory control clerk and a timekeeper-payroll clerk. She was a homemaker whose greatest joy was the raising of her children. In later years she worked as a dental assistant, retiring in June 1995.

She was a devout and active member of First Baptist Church in Bettendorf where she served over the years as church clerk, in the Sunday school preschool and children's departments, and on various committees. Her other interests included traveling, cooking, sewing and gardening. She was a fan of the University of Iowa football and basketball teams.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Kathleen (Richard) Vineyard of Oxford Michigan, Sheila Tecson of Rochester Hills; her son, Steven (Trish) Richardson of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; her grandchildren, Jenna Vineyard, Zachary and Sophia Tecson, Caitlyn, Nicholas and Kelli Richardson; and her sister, Joanne (Charles) Fanning of Wheaton, Illinois. 

In addition to her husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James H. Finan of Cincinnati.
