Patricia A. Mcmahon

Patricia A. McMahon, 61, of Davenport, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Monday, August 3, 2009 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Patricia was born March 4, 1948 in Davenport, the daughter of Thomas & Evelyn (Wright) Nims. She was united in marriage to Robert M. McMahon on October 21, 1989 in Davenport.
Patricia had been employed for over 20 years as a license and title clerk for various car dealerships in the Quad-Cities. She worked for the former Dochterman Plymouth and V.J. Dahl Ford in Davenport and most recently, Zimmerman’s in Rock Island.
She was an avid bowler and participated in several National Women’s Bowling Congresses throughout the years. A highlight of her career was when she bowled a 298 as a substitute at Plaza Bowl North in Davenport. Patricia also enjoyed reading in her spare time.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Robert; and her sister, Linda Nims, of Dixon, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
