Patricia S. Mayes

Patricia S. Mayes, 66, of Buffalo, Iowa, died Friday, September 9, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 12, 2005 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Patricia was born January 11, 1939 in Davenport, the daughter of William & Anna (Tollinger) Osborn. She was united in marriage to William J. Mayes on November 22, 1958 in Davenport. He preceded her in death on July 10, 2005.
Patricia will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, playing bingo, and other card games.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter and son-in-law, Anna L. & Troy Manes, of Davenport; her son and daughter-in-law, William P. & Jodie Mayes, of Blue Grass, Iowa; and her granddaughters, Lanna Manes, Courtney Coopman, and her husband, Brian, and Abbie Manes.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Helen and Anna; and her brother, George.
