Randall Kauffman

Graveside services for Randall L. “The Duck” Kauffman, 72, of Buffalo, Iowa, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Buffalo. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Scott County.
Mr. Kauffman died on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Manor Care in Davenport, Iowa.
Randy was born September 30, 1944 in Davenport, the son of Robert & Anna Marie (Stalder) Figg. He served in the United States Army in 1965-67. He was united in marriage to Mary Lou Landers on October 31, 1966 in Munich, Germany. She preceded him in death on January 7, 1986.
He worked in sheet metal with HVAC systems for several years. Hard working, Randy was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed the company of animals.
Those left to honor his memory include his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael & Laura Kauffman of Calamus, Iowa and David & Kim Kauffman of Blue Grass, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kayla, Cody, Alex and Mary; his mother, Anna Marie Figg of Davenport; and his brothers, Reg (Shirley) Kauffman of Calamus and Max (Andi) Kauffman of Blue Grass.
In addition to his wife, Mary Lou, Randy was preceded in death by his father; and his granddaughter, Amanda.
