Randy Darnell Spencer, 63, a resident of Davenport, formerly of Bettendorf, died Monday, January 30, 2017 at Pearl Valley Rehab & Nursing in Muscatine.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 6, 2017 at First Assembly of God in Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to the family.
Born on October 21, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa, Randy was the son of Darrell Dean and Nellie M. (Clark) Spencer.
Randy was a packaging mechanic for General Foods, Libby’s and HON Manufacturing. He loved to play pool, go fishing and being outside doing yardwork.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Yessenia Spencer of Davenport; sons, Greg and Michael Spencer, both of Bettendorf; granddaughter, Niyah; sisters, Linda (Marlin) Olson of Pleasantville, Iowa, Carolyn (Ralph) Busetto of Bettendorf, Priscilla Brown of Bettendorf, and Grace (David) Tuttle of Princeton; and a brother, Darrell (Peg) Spencer, Jr. of LeClaire.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judith Coe.
