Randy D. Bebensee, 54, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Monday, May 5, 2008 at his home following an extended illness.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 9, 2008 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Davenport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born July 30, 1953 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Robert & Lorraine (Severtsen) Bebensee. On December 3, 1977, he was united in marriage to Cinde S. Taylor in Rock Island, Illinois.
Randy was a drywall installer and owned & operated Bebensee Lathing of Davenport.
He loved to go fishing, was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and enjoyed John Wayne movies.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Cinde; his sons, Cyrus Bebansee at home and Randy Bebensee Jr. of Des Moines, Iowa; his granddaughter, Cynnamon; his brother, Dale Bentley of Davenport; and his in-laws, Margaret & Dallas Taylor of Tucson, Arizona, Aprile, Debbie & Tom, Mary & Toby, Mike & Diana, Sheila, Jeff & Sally and Gary & Pattie; and many beloved nieces & nephews.
His grandson, Tommy Carpenter; his brother, Kenny; and his parents preceded him in death.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses & staff members of the Pulmonary Unit of Genesis Medical Center, West Campus in Davenport for their compassionate & professional care during Randy’s illness.
