Rebecca J. Diehn-Webb, 57, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at her home.
A memorial gathering to honor her life will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2363 W. 3 rd St., Davenport, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her family. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was born in Springfield, Illinois on January 8, 1953, the daughter of William Lee & Patricia Mae (Peters) Mulcahy.
Rebecca was formerly employed by Sheridan’s Island Food Service at the Rock Island Arsenal. In earlier years, she worked at the Rock Island Arsenal Officer’s Club and also was a bus driver for the Pleasant Valley School District.
She loved the Mississippi River and enjoyed boating, swimming & water-skiing.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Michelle Diehn and Callie Diehn, both of Davenport; her step-son, Don Diehn of Davenport; her sister, Sharon E. (Tom) Gaskey of Davenport; her brother, Claude a. (Stephanie) Hubbard of Davenport; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Lee Koukes; and her sister, Sandy Mulcahy.
