Rev. Harry W. Poling, 90, of Pleasant Valley, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at MercyOne Genesis in Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in LeClaire. Memorials may be made to Glendale Cemetery.
Harry was born September 10, 1934 in Akron, Ohio, the son of Henry B. & Grace L. (Tilton) Poling. He was united in marriage to Jerry Lee Reagan on November 20, 1953 in Akron. She preceded him in death on May 1, 2010.
Rev. Poling was a minister in the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel for over sixty years. He had also driven school buses for the Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley school districts.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughters, Vickie Logsdon of Monmouth, Illinois and Mickie (Donald) Chapman of LeClaire; his sons, Harry (Dianna) Poling, Jr. of Rosedale, Indiana and Thomas (DeAnn) Poling of Princeton, Iowa; eleven grandchildren; and thirty-four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Jerry, Harry was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Rev. Irwin Poling; several half-sisters and brothers; and his son-in-law, Richard Logsdon.
