Richard M. “Dick” Kiely, 79, of Martinez, CA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 23, 2014 in Bettendorf, IA.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Diablo Creek Golf Course in Concord, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Tee Program.
Richard was born June 14, 1935 in San Jose, California, the son of Denis J. & Dorothy (Dunn) Kiely.
Those left to honor his memory include Pamela Frisby of Martinez; his daughters, Christina (John) Rossum of Ft. Bragg, CA, Kiely of Los Angeles, CA and Colleen (Butch) Castro of Groveland, CA; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Brian and Duncan Rossum and Spencer, Rebecca and Leanna Castro; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Catherine (Eldon) O’Brien of Upland, CA; and many nieces & nephews.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Kevin Kiely; and his brother, Denis J. Kiely Jr.
