Richard A. Youngman

Richard A. Youngman, 62, of DeWitt, Iowa, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, May 8, 2023 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Pleasant Valley, Iowa.  Memorials may be made to the family.
Richard was born September 28, 1960 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Walter D. & Eleanor J. (Mecum) Youngman.
He enjoyed roofing, driving a cement truck and especially woodworking, horses and the company of his grandchildren.  He had been a member of the Donahue Horse Club where he would ride and show horses for several years.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Eleanor Youngman of DeWitt; his daughters, Jean (Justin) Raymond of DeWitt, Susan (Adam) Butterworth of McCausland, Iowa and Rebeca Youngman of LeClaire; Iowa; eleven grandchildren; his sisters, Donna (Steve) Fuhlman of Greentop, Missouri, Edith Patterson of Kirksville, Missouri, Joann (Robert) Collis of Queen City, Missouri and Mary (Don) Baldwin of Lancaster, Missouri; his brothers, Walter Jr. (David) Youngman of Davenport and Roger (Kathy) Youngman of Kirksville; and several nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his father.
