Robert Wickham

Robert B. Wickham, 66, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died on Thursday, January 14, 2021 after a tragic house fire at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Rock Island National Cemetery where military honors will be conducted.  Those wishing to attend his service should meet at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf by 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday.  Due to the Covid virus, masks are required, and social distancing is expected.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Robert was born in Davenport on October 30, 1954, the son of Robert L. and Laura L. (Klemme) Wickham.  He and his wife, Mary were married on July 4, 1995.

For most of his life, Robert was self-employed in home improvement and construction.

Those left to honor his memory include his sons, Robert Wickham, Jeffrey Wickham and Scott Wickham, all of Thomasville, Georgia and Jodd Wickham of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Lucas Wickham, Adam Wickham, Jaden Wickham, Nevan Wickham, Kayli Wickham, Alex Wickham and Leland Wickham; and his sisters, Bambi and Lori.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, his granddaughter, Taylor Treanton; and his parents.
