Robert J. Fisher, 55, of Davenport, died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus in Davenport.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 P.M., Friday, November 18, 2011 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 11:30 A.M. until the time of the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport.
Robert was born February 21, 1956 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Robert J. & Patricia Marie (Shaw) Fisher. He was united in marriage to Cynthia M. Matejcek on September 16, 2000 in Davenport.
He had been employed at Titan Wheel and also with Blackhawk Foundry. He enjoyed Stock Car racing and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Cindy; his children, Kathy Heather, Rainy Ann Cowell, Anna Aldridge, Angela Peek, Toni Bell, Todd Matejcek, Patricia Matejcek, Angela Frey, Richard Peek and Bobby Matejcek; numerous grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, Hayley expected soon; and his sister, Peggy Ortel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Harry and his grandson, Dalton.
