Robert F. Kussman, 79, of Bettendorf, passed away Friday July 12, 2013 at Trinity Bettendorf Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday July 18, 2013 at Crossroads Independent Baptist Church in Davenport. A luncheon will immediately follow the service.
Robert was born May 24, 1934 in Alexandria, Missouri, the son of Francis and Wilveretta (Burgress) Kussman. In 1953 Robert married Joann Morrman in Rock Island, IL. Robert worked at Kings Material making blocks. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and spending quality time with family and his dog Buttons. Robert will be remembered as a hard worker and a caring father, husband, and grandfather.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Joann Kussman; two daughters, Terri (Stewart) Burkamper of Muscatine and Etta (Michael) Tracy of Bettendorf; two sons, Robert (Patsy) Kussman of Moline and Bill Kussman of Bettendorf; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two sisters, Maggie Morris and Cricket Kussman both of Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Frankie, Leroy, and John Kussman; and two sisters Lucille and Ardalia.
