Robert Mcmahon

Graveside services for Robert M. McMahon, 75, of Davenport will be 10:00 A.M. on Friday at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL, where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion #26. Those wishing to attend should meet at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf at 9:15 am on Friday.

Robert passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Country Manor Memory Care, Davenport, IA.

Robert was born on October 7, 1946, in Davenport. He married Stephanie Trevor, she preceded him in death, he married Patricia Nims on October 21, 1989, in Davenport, IA. She preceded him in death on July 29, 2009. He then married Kay Patterson, she preceded him in death. Robert worked at Iowa American Water as a pump operator for 40 years, retiring in 2008. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp from October 1965 to May 1968. Robert was an avid bowler, he enjoyed watching N.A.S.C.A.R., the Chicago Cubs and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Survivors include his son; Patrick McMahon of Bettendorf and special friends, Garrett Jahns and Dale Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, Stephanie Tervor, Patricia Nims and Kay Patterson, and brother, Dick McMahon.
