Robert Robertson

Robert C. Robertson, 74, of Bettendorf, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Trinity Bettendorf.

His funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, November 24, 2017 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Friday at the funeral home.  Cremation rites will follow.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Bob was born September 14, 1943 in Davenport, the son of Robert F. & Erma M. (Hansen) Robertson.  He was united in marriage to Kathleen G. Fagan on November 8, 1980 in LeClaire, Iowa.

Bob was a truck driver for many years.  He loved the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Kathy; his daughters, Cathy Dickey of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ann McCool of Davenport, Lori (Matthew) Logan of Des Moines, Iowa and Katherine (Bryan) Holem of New Port Richey, Florida; his sons, Michael Robertson of St. Louis, Missouri, Patrick Gill of Slidell, Louisiana, Bradley Robertson of LeClaire and Todd (Stacy) Robertson of Riverdale, Iowa; twenty-five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; his sisters, Donna (Rick) Ahlgren of Davenport and Karen (Roger) Woomert of Princeton, Iowa; and his brothers, Bill (Toni) Robertson of LeClaire and Ken (Jennie) Robertson of Princeton.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jerry Robertson; and his grandson, Jacob.
