Robert G. Greenlee, 51, a resident of Davenport, Iowa, died Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport after a brief bout with leukemia.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 5, 2006 at First Assembly of God Church in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to the church.
Robert was born August 23, 1954 in Davenport, Iowa the son of William & Joanne (Patterson) Greenlee. He was united in marriage to Brenda I. Seelow on August 14, 1976 in Moline, Illinois.
He had been employed as a welder with John Deere & Company since 1978. Most recently, he had become a special investigator within his department.
Robert had a compassionate love for his family and his faith. He and Brenda had belonged with CoffeeHouse Ministries in earlier years.
Those left to honor his memory include his beloved wife, Brenda; his daughters Julia, Katherine, Shania and Emily all of Davenport; his mother, Joanne Feeney, of Davenport; his brothers, Richard Greenlee and his wife, Jeanine of Bettendorf, Tony Greenlee and his wife, Theresa of Normal, Illinois, Terry Greenlee of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Michael Greenlee of Hawaii; his step-father, Jack Feeney; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, William on December 4, 1994; and his grandparents, Pauline Patterson and Jay & Cordelia Greenlee.
