Robert J. Fraser, 58, of Princeton, Iowa, died Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Center in Davenport, Iowa.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Princeton Volunteer Fire Department in Princeton. Memorials may be made to the family.
Bob was born September 22, 1951 in Laurens, Iowa, the son of Elmer L. & Donna M. (Slaven) Fraser. He retired in 1986 from the LeClaire Quarries where he had been a heavy equipment operator for 14 years.
He enjoyed motorcycles and was a member of A.B.A.T.E. of Iowa, District 15, where he had served as Coordinator for a period of time. Bob also enjoyed the company of his friends and his grandchildren.
Those left to honor his memory include his son, Shawn Fraser, of Princeton; his daughter, Brenda Fraser of Blair, Nebraska; his step-children, Scott Phares of LeClaire and Jennifer Phares of Davenport; his grandchildren, Greyson & Gage Fraser, Chelsea Petty, Alichia Herman and Rhet Fraser; four step-grandchildren; his sister, Margie Baldwin of Larrabee, Iowa; and special friends, John & Bambi Rankin and Dave Rowland.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and by his sister, Terrie Isbel.
