Ronald Lee Guy, 48, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at his home.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
Ronald was born November 1, 1961 in Davenport the son of Arthur Ebenezer and Vera Marjorie (Marxen) Guy.
He enjoyed fishing, fixing cars, reading Stephen King, NASCAR, and the Chicago Cubs and Bears.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughters, Ashlee Guy, North Liberty, Iowa and Christine Guy, Davenport, Iowa; his mother, Vera Guy, Davenport, Iowa; his sisters, Pat (Donald) Weston, Davenport, Iowa and Kathy (Dennis) Butler, Colorado; his brothers, Gerry (Barb) Guy, Oklahoma and Jeff Guy, Davenport, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur.
