Rose Marie Ozmon, 75, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Saturday, July 1, 2006 at her home.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 6, 2006 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born March 18, 1931 in Davenport, the daughter of Ashford Francis & Dora Ida (Riepe) Butts. She was united in marriage to Walter Stanley Ozmon in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1966.
Rose was a devoted mother & homemaker. She enjoyed babysitting in her home and playing bingo.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Chris Ozmon of Davenport; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Ellen Chapman of Davenport and Bea Jones in Colorado; her brother, Charles Butts of Bettendorf; and her brother-in-law, Nat Ozmon of Chicago, Illinois.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Art Butts and Russ Butts.
