Rosemary Suiter, 79, a resident of LeClaire, Iowa died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service Wednesday. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire. Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous for disabled children.
Rosemary was born December 12, 1933 in rural Princeton, Iowa the daughter of Louis and Zella (Birney) Erling. She was a graduate of LeClaire High School. She was united in marriage to Clifford B. “Skip” Suiter at Argo Presbyterian Church, Argo, Iowa on May 31, 1952.
Rosemary was a homemaker who enjoyed visiting with relatives and friends.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Skip, LeClaire; her daughter, Marilyn Irwin, LeClaire; her sons, Robert (Cindy) Suiter, Littleton, Colorado and Steven Suiter, LeClaire; her grandchildren, Christian (Lesley) Taber, Bret (Rachel) Taber, Jim (Tara) Irwin Jr., Sheree Irwin, Jeffrey Irwin, Carrie Suiter, David Suiter, Allison Suiter, Matthew Suiter, Michael Suiter and Mitchell Suiter; her great-grandchildren, Katie Irwin, Kyle Irwin, Kyleen Irwin and Henry Taber; her sister, Patricia Merkel, LeClaire and numerous extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, Jim Irwin Sr.
