Private family services for Roy H. Lindsey Jr. will be held at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the family. Mr. Lindsey, 44, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at his home.
He was born September 4, 1959 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Roy H. Lindsey Sr. and Dorothy (Nicoletta) Lindsey. He married Lorey A. Houston in Rock Island, Illinois on May 31, 1984.
Survivors include his wife, Lorey; his sons, Jeremy Gladfelter, Milan, Illinois, Shane Houston, Moline, Illinois, Nathan Lindsey, Andalusia, Illlinois and Nicholas Lindsey, Davenport; his granddaughter, Savannah; his mother, Dorothy Freelove, Moline; his father, Roy H. Lindsey Sr., Davenport; his sisters, Sandra Wakeland, Taylor Ridge, Illinois and Jeanetta Lindsey, Davenport; and his brothers, Peter Fretto, David Lindsey, Randy Lindsey, John Lindsey and Stacey Lindsey, all of Davenport.
