Ruben A. "Bud" Webb

Ruben A. “Bud” Webb, 76, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to the time of service. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois at 10:30 A.M on Friday, July 30, 2010. Those wishing to attend the burial will gather at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa at 9:45 A.M. Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
Bud was born September 19, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Ruben and Beulah (Lane) Webb. He was united in marriage to Donna Duffield on July 10, 1954 in Davenport, Iowa. She preceded him in death on December 6, 2002.
Bud worked as a service technician for Fairbanks Scales in Davenport, Iowa until his retirement in 1988.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his best friend Fritz Koch and spending time with his wife at their cabin on the Cedar River.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Julie Cavlovic, Davenport, Iowa; his son, Michael (Becki) Webb, Davenport, Iowa; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Tara, Jared, Jordan, Kayla, Kimbra and Dusty; his five great-grandchildren and his best friend, Fritz Koch, Davenport, Iowa.
In addition to his wife, Donna he was preceded in death by his parents.
