Sally Eiken

Sally Ann Eiken, 83, a resident of Bettendorf, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Community Nursing and Rehab Center in Naperville, IL.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Rock Island National Cemetery (appropriately, not far from the Arsenal Island Golf Course). Those wishing to attend should meet at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Born on March 15, 1931 in Mauston, WI, Sally was the daughter of Phillip and Leslie (Pingle) Eberlein. She married Marcus Alan Eiken on May 16, 1953 in Edgerton, WI. He preceded her in death.
Sally had a great love for the game of golf and spent many happy days out on the course.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Leslie (Dan) Goedken of Sugar Grove, IL and Ron (Mary) Eiken of Naperville, IL; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Phillip Eberlein, and her son Mark Eiken.
