Sandra K. (Maag) Trulock, 61, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus in Davenport following an extended illness.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, April 20, 2007 at Our Lady of the River Catholic Church, LeClaire, Iowa where she was a member. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Memorials may be made to the family or the Community Improvement Corporation of LeClaire.
She was born December 18, 1945 in Davenport, the daughter of Joseph A. “Tony” & Clara W. (Musal) Maag. Sandra graduated from Bettendorf High School and the American Institute of Commerce in Davenport. On February 22, 1971, she was united in marriage to Curtis Lee Trulock in Louisville, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1983.
Sandra was a devoted homemaker & mother. She loved to read, enjoyed music and bowling.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Donna M. Trulock of Louisville, Kentucky, Kimberly Ann Jackson of Rock Island, Illinois and Sherry R. McQueen of Louisville; her sons, Michael Anthony Trulock and Curtis Allen Trulock, both of Davenport; six grandchildren; and her brothers, Kenneth Maag of Rantoul, Illinois, Michael Maag of Davenport and Jay Maag of Davenport.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and by her brother, Joseph Maag, killed in action in April of 1968 during the Viet Nam Conflict.
