Sara Audrey McDaniel

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date for Sara A. McDaniel, 68, of Davenport. Sara passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023, at her home in Davenport.

Sara Audrey Geophart was born on July 1, 1955, in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Merle and Mary (West) Ebberson. She married Albert “Gene” McDaniel in Davenport on February 22, 1991. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1991.

Sara found joy in the company of her dogs Thor and Odin, outdoor activities, camping, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Heather (Michael) Fisher of Davenport, Missy Anderson and her fiancé, Mickey Jackson of Rock Island, grandchildren; Joshua (Baleigh) Fisher, Alex Anderson; brother, Darrell (Betty) Ebberson of Oxnard, CA and two cousins, Avery (Sheila) Shipley and Barry Shipley both of Davenport.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Albert.
