Scott Schleisman

Scott E. Schleisman, 62, of Bettendorf passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 15, 2021 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Noon on Friday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to Wounded Warriors.

Scott was born July 21, 1959 in Webster City, Iowa, the son of Lloyd and Kay (Raven) Schleisman.  On August 16, 1996, he married Tammy L. Stearman in Little White Chapel.  Scott currently worked as an inspector in the plate mill department at Arconic, where he had been employed for 28 years.  He loved to fish, and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.

Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Tammy Schleisman of Bettendorf; his mother, Kay Schleisman of Bettendorf; daughter, Danielle (Anthony Arnold) Schleisman of Davenport; Eric (Saysha Bolden) Schleisman of Bettendorf; three grandchildren, Malani, Kenley, and Tavien; brothers, Mark (Kim) Schleisman of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Brent (Suellen) Schleisman of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; and 11 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
