Shannon Louise Diedrich, 38, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died at her home on Monday, January 26, 2015.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf. She will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for her children’s college education.
She was born in Davenport on September 17, 1976, the daughter of John & Sherrill (Stebens) Kipp. Shannon graduated from Davenport West High School and received her Licensed Practical Nurse’s degree from Scott Community College.
On November 1, 1997, she was united in marriage to Brandon Diedrich in Davenport. Shannon was a devoted homemaker and home care provider to her grandmother.
She loved music, enjoyed an evening of dancing and the companionship of her beloved family.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Brandon; her children, Austin Diedrich, a student at the University of Iowa and Alexis Jean Diedrich, at home; her parents, John & Sherrill Kipp of Bettendorf; her sister, Sunni Kipp of Bettendorf; her brother, J.J. Kipp of Davenport; and her grandmother, Betty Stebens-Lake of Davenport/
Her grandfather, Sonny Stebens and her grandmother, Darlene Kipp preceded her in death.
