Sharon Tucker

Sharon Mae Tucker, 67, of Davenport, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 2, 2014 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 1 st from 5:00 pm – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo. Memorials may be made to the family.
Sharon was born June 19, 1946 in Davenport, the daughter of John W. and Pansy Evelyn (Bateman) Harper. Sharon married Tommy Joe Tucker, Sr. on June 3, 1961, in Buffalo. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2014.
During her lifetime, Sharon worked as a cashier for Casey’s and had jobs doing custodial work. She enjoyed playing BINGO and card games. Sharon enjoyed holidays and cherished her time spent with family.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Tammy Joe Aldrich and Tommy Joe (Katie) Tucker Jr., both of Davenport; grandchildren Dustin, Jesse, Aaron, Chris, Amy, Callie, Linda, Nicole, and Donnie; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Fisher, Colleen Hayes, and Judy (Ronny) Fuller all of Davenport; brother, Richard (Dottie) Porter of Blue Grass; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timmy Joe Tucker; grandson, Kadin DeFauw; brothers, John Pieper and John Fordham.
