Sharon Wollett

Funeral services for Sharon K. Wollett, will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 30, 2020 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home. Pastor Peter Marty from St. Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport will be officiating.

Sharon passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society, Davenport.

Sharon K. Mingee was born on January 18, 1951 in Davenport, the daughter of Leslie and Lois (Plett) Mingee.  On July 18, 1970, she married Michael W. Wollett.  He preceded her in death on October 11, 2018. Sharon worked as a processor for the John Deere Health Group, retiring in 2002.

She enjoyed calligraphy, making afghans, and spending time with family.

Those left to honor her memory are her children, Steve (Jody) Wollett of Davenport, Cindy (James) Wardrip of East Moline, Illinois and Joseph (Rachel) Wollett of Bettendorf; her sister, Janet Kunst of Davenport; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ryan) Wallace, Austin (Ashley) Wardrip, Steven Wollett II, Leanna Wardrip, Destany Wollett, Caitlyn Wardrip, Benjamin Wollett, Isabella Wollett and Caleb Wardrip; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; and a niece, Joanna Hughes.
