Sharon K. Reicks

Sharon K. Reicks, 65, of Davenport, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 26, 2007 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded and burial will take place at a later date in Kewanee, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Genesis VNA Hospice.
Sharon was born October 24, 1941 in Kewanee, the daughter of William D. & Betty A. Huckins. She was united in marriage to Trino S. Leon in 1960. She was later united in marriage to Ron L. Reicks on November 3, 1983 in Davenport, Iowa.
Sharon retired on January 1, 2002 as a data applicator for John Deere & Company in Moline, Illinois after 27 years of employment. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, and crafts of various sorts.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Ron; her mother, Betty Carlson, of St. Petersburg, Florida; her sons, Steve Leon, Mark Leon and David Leon, all of Glendale, Arizona; her step-daughters, Dee Essex and her husband, John, of Davenport, Dawn Reicks, of Williams, Arizona, and Donna Essex and her husband, George, of Davenport; her step-son, Bob Reicks, of Davenport; her grandson, Joseph Leon; 8 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; and her step-sister, Sandra Becker, of Davenport
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, William.
