Shawna Marie Weas, 28, of Davenport, died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport.
A celebration of life service will be held Monday, January 4, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Living Hope Community Church in Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting the family.
Born on April 1, 1987 in Davenport, Shawna was the daughter of Frank Weas and Michelle Baguss.
Shawna enjoyed listening to music and nature, the moon and stars. She loved to laugh and had a beautiful smile.
Survivors include her mother, Michelle Baguss and her father, Frank Weas, both of Davenport; brother, Steven (Emily) Stoner of Buffalo; sister, Carly Baguss of Davenport; grandmother, Sharon (David) Carss of Davenport; and her beloved, Matthew Wiese; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Franklin and Naomi Weas, maternal grandfather, Charles Baguss and maternal great-grandfather, Vincent Carss.
