"Skip" Glen Phillips

“Skip” Glen C. Phillips Jr., 74, of Davenport, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Bettendorf Healthcare Center.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2017 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the services on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Phillips family, in care of Desirae Phillips.
Skip was born June 10, 1943 in Davenport, the son of Glen C. Sr. & Mildred (McConnell) Phillips. He was united in marriage to “Mimi” Miriam A. Eichhorn on October 2, 1974. He had been employed in concrete construction.
Those left to honor Skip’s memory include his wife, Mimi; his son, Trayn (Andrea) Phillips of Davenport; his daughters, Karma Phillips of Davenport and Desirae (Adam) Phillips of Chicago; his grandchildren, Katie, Cole, Shamus, Darien, Mesha and Samael; his brother, Frank Chapman; and a special niece, Misty.
