Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Steve Walrup, 58, of Davenport, Iowa, will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 12:00 p.m. at McGinnis- Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Davenport, Iowa.

Steve passed away July 31, 2018 at Genesis Medical Center East Campus, in Davenport.

Steve was born on May 4, 1960 in Water Valley, Mississippi to the son of William and Emma (Bibbs) Walrup. Steve was retired from Sivyer Steele in Bettendorf, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Winona Gray on August 14, 2015. He enjoyed basketball, fishing and playing spades. He especially loved spending time with his family.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Winona; his mother, Emma (Sam) Smith of Oxford Mississippi; his sons, Deondra (Pam Thomas) of Rock Island, Illinois, DeQuan Jordan of Killeen, Texas, Delon Smith of Racine, Wisconsin; Eric and Nicholas Smith of San Diego California; his daughters, Ja’lissa March of Davenport, and Alexis Carroll of Racine;  his sister, Gaynelle (Bobby) Warren of Davenport; his brothers, James (Yolanda) and Johnny (Cecelia) Walrup of Racine; his in-laws; Tim, Doug (Doll), Adisa (April), Charlotte and Lori Gray; and a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, and his brothers Bobby and William Walrup.
