Steven Silverthorn
November 9, 1959 — March 12, 2016
Steven R. Silverthorn, 56, a resident of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly at his home.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to Vera French Community Mental Health Center.
Born on November 9, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Steve was the son of Warren Silverthorn and Sylvia (Bryson) Andrews.
Steve worked for Nichols Aluminum in Davenport for 25 years. He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and boating. He was an avid Chicago sports fan.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Kara Silverthorn of Davenport; sisters, Sharon Glim of Frankfort, Illinois and Mary Andrews of Homewood, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Jacob, Sara, Austin and Megan; his long-time girlfriend, Vicki Meyers of Davenport and an ex-wife, Lisa Williams of Eldridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael.
